"The Invisible Class"
Documentary Film Screening ~ Refreshments ~ After-discussion
Casa Esther, along with our partners at ESTHER-Fox Valley, Trinity Episcopal, and First Congregational Church in Oshkosh, are happy to announce a free screening of a documentary about homelessness in America entitled The Invisible Class. In today’s world most people have access to video through television and applications like Netflix and Hulu, but attending a live group event is still a special thing. Live events, especially about social justice issues, not only allow us to continue to educate ourselves on modern issues, but gives us a chance to interact with other people, meet our local philanthropic organizations, and coalition build. Whether you’re a friend to our organization, a student, someone who works in a similar field, or just a fan of movies, this event is for you.
Film Screening: Wednesday, July 19th
First Congregational Church, 137 Algoma Blvd Oshkosh, WI
6:00 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.)
7:30 p.m. talkback about homelessness in Oshkosh
There will be light refreshments and snacks afterwards and we will have an information area.
