ABOUT CASA ESTHER
HISTORY
Casa Esther was established in April 2008 to serve the needs of the immigrant community in Omro, Wisconsin area. We supported the community's spiritual needs as well as teaching music and art; and, as needed, basic living situation needs.
Our ministry and operations have evolved with the changing needs. Today, particularly in a post-pandemic and migratory world, our Basic Needs Distribution programs are front-and-center.

VALUES
Our values are inspired by the Catholic Worker movement founded by Dorothy Day and Peter Maurin. We strive to hold a Mission and Vision based on these principles and engaging with all who wish to join us in these goals. “Catholic” comes from the word “universal” and is “all-embracing” or “a wide variety of things,” not one particular religious organization.
VISION
A world without war.

A world that works harmoniously for All of Creation.

A new society built in the shell of the old society.

A world where it is easy to be Good.
